Supported development & performance program

The Substation is thrilled to launch its first-ever supported performance program, Get it on! as part of the 2013 Melbourne Fringe Festival. Get it on! will provide venue support both in the development and presentation stage of up to 4 works to be presented at The Substation as part of this year’s Festival.

This program is open to all forms of performance including but not limited to theatre, circus, cabaret, physical theatre, contemporary dance, inter-arts & live arts etc.

About your Membership

Your membership is vital for The Substation to continue to grow and prosper. Membership is taken out on an annual basis, and assists The Substation to operate on a financially sustainable basis as a not-for-profit organisation.

Membership Benefits

Costs of becoming a member are:

Advisory Groups:

To assist our board of committee members, we have established advisory groups. These groups help in promoting and developing the project. It is a way in which the whole of the membership can be part of the decision making process. Meetings of the subcommittees are generally held monthly. All Substation members are encouraged to participate in one or more of these groups.

  • Finance/Sponsoship Committee
    The Finance Committee is in charge of grants administration and fundraising. Finance Committee members are David Williams (Treasurer) and Jeremy Gaden.
