The Substation is pleased to support an important fund-raiser...

Some of Australia’s most powerful Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal female performers will be bringing the awesome in Sista Act, a fundraiser to provide scholarships to Worawa Aboriginal Girls College in Healesville.

A spectacular night of comedy, opera, dance, cabaret, rock, soul, hip hop and choir, with Deborah Conway, Deborah Cheetham, Hannah Gadsby, Rachael and Lisa Maza, Denise Scott, Jessie Lloyd, B.Girl Nikki Ashby, the Swing Sister Swing Dancers, the Skin Choir, and the Worawa Girl Singers.

Tickets: $25 plus booking fee

Wooden Music Festival

Featuring Perch Creek Family Band, Max Savage, Quarry Mountain Dead Rats

The Substation hosts the Wooden Music Festival!

Come on down and listen to some of the nation's best acoustic music, from bluegrass, to folk and gypsy swing! Adelaide's Max Savage will kick off the evening at 7.30pm. Followed by The Quarry Mountain Dead Rats, then The Perch Creek Family Jugband.

Chris Wilson & Shane O'Mara - Live at The Continental Revisited

It’s been nearly 20 years since the release of Chris Wilson’s iconic Live at The Continental album; one of Australia’s classic recordings. Now, over two very special nights, Chris Wilson will once again join forces with Shane O’Mara to revisit this album. These shows promise to both honour the original recordings of such classics as Rose Tattoo and Face in the Mirror, and offer new interpretations of some of Wilson’s finest songs.
