HBCAC: The Substation, Newport

"Hobsons Bay Community Arts Centre Incorporated is a not for profit association whose aims are to transform the Newport Substation building and create a Community Arts Centre which will provide a venue for the cultural development of the local community"

The Substation aims to be a centre for excellence in the arts for citizens of Hobsons Bay and other areas. Presently, policies dealing with use and cost of the various spaces and facilities are being developed. Please continue to visit our web site for updates.

Come along to the opening of The Substation | Saturday 22 November

Entertainment will begin at 3pm - including Newport Lakes Primary School (under the direction of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), Willin Wimmin, Newport Swing Band, Multicultural Choir, and the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club. Official speeches will start at 4pm.
